Not only does studying abroad enrich anything and everything about your life, slash I highly recommend it for any student, but the pay off is even better when you get to continue the friendships that were made so long ago. My mom would always say, “Make sure to keep in touch with everyone”, but for real people keep in touch…
It was my best friend, Julia’s, last couple months living in Paris because she was graduating soon and was ready to spread her artistic wings, so what do I do? Grab my “photographer partner in crime”, the ever lovely Miss Bethany Hughes and we take on our newest adventure together, PARIS.
I studied there in 2013 at Paris College of Art and even though it had been some time away from the city the memories flooded back as soon as I stepped off that plane. Walking around familiar streets, eating at cafes that used to be a weekly event, simply getting groceries at the nearest franprix, all of it came rushing back to me and I never wanted to leave…that is until I show you our next destination, the anticipation, I know…But here are some of the streets, museums, and viewpoints that we were so fortunate to see.
Places we went:
- Foundation Louis Vuitton
- Trocadero
- Jardin des Serres d’Auteuil
- Sacre Coeur
- Arc de Triomphe
- La Recyclerie
- Eiffel Tower
- Champs de Mars
- Le Lourve
- Jardin de Tuileries
- Walking along the Seine
- Fondation Cartier pour l’Art Contemporain
- Julia’s charming apartment
- Centre de Pompidou
Wonderful and evocative photos!
