We left Valpo mid morning and headed back to Santiago around noon. We had some time to wander so we went to an art exhibit by Yayoi Kusama, who used polka dots on every work she produced whether it was paintings, sculptures, and even performance art.

That night we packed our large backpacking backpacks and headed for the bus station to get a night bus to Puerto Varas, 10 long hours on a double decker bus…let’s just say we were super excited to really do some exploring that the long bus ride didn’t even faze us.
